Migrantes e inseguridad

Migrants and insecurity
Migrants may identify well with Joseph and Mary seeking Posada. The migrants have left whatever security they may have had in their homeland, seeking a new place to call home. Each day on their journey, those with children have little resources to provide food and shelter for their family. As they travel, they watch out for their children until they reach a sponsor, a family member or an employer who can provide them with security. They watch out for one another. Uncertainty and insecurity are part of their lives each day, until they reach a safe Posada.
May they be protected by the angels of God and people of good will on their journey. In two more days, we celebrate Joseph and Mary receiving Posada. Let us pray each day for those migrants still living in the insecurity, danger and the winter weather.
