Gracias a los que siguen padremigrante
Parece que los blogs de las últimas dos semanas han obtenido una respuesta significativamente diferente a la del año y medio que he estado escribiendo reflexiones diarias. La mayor respuesta personal comenzó con la bienvenida al extranjero (1 de mayo) y considerando algunos de los errores que cometemos al responder a los migrantes que buscan refugio (3 de mayo). Más respuestas y algunas historias sobre el cuidado de los migrantes comenzaron a llegar de partes del mundo fuera de los Estados Unidos y México en respuesta a los blogs sobre “Traer a Jesús a los pobres”, y considerando los párrafos 27 – 33 de La Alegría del Evangelio (que comienzaron 9 de mayo).
Agradezco a quienes se toman el tiempo de enviar correos electrónicos a padremigrante@gmail.com. En estos blogs se pueden compartir historias, observaciones y experiencias. Si alguien escribe sobre sus experiencias o preguntas, estaré feliz de escribir sobre nuestras experiencias con los migrantes. Solo publicaré un comentario en el correo electrónico de alguien después de que un colaborador revise la publicación primero.
Doy la bienvenida a las experiencias de los demás, ya que todos tratamos de responder mejor a los hermanos y hermanas que buscan una vida mejor a través de la migración.

It appears that the blogs of the past two weeks have gained a significantly different response than over the year and a half that I have been writing daily reflections. The increased personal response began with welcoming the stranger (May 1) and considering some of the mistakes that we make in responding to migrants seeking refuge (May 3). More responses and some stories about caring for migrants began to come from parts of the world outside of the United States and Mexico in response to blogs about “Bringing Jesus to the poor”, and considering The Joy of the Gospel paragraphs 27 – 33 (beginning May 9).
I appreciate those taking the time to send emails to padremigrante@gmail.com. Stories, observations and experiences can be shared on these blogs. If someone writes about their experiences or questions, I will be happy to correspond about our experiences with migrants. I will only publish a comment on someone’s email after a contributor reviews the post first.
I welcome the experiences of others, as we all try to respond better to brothers and sisters seeking better lives through migration.

Que este viaje nos abra los ojos a las maravillas de tu amor por nosotros. Oramos por toda tu gente, por todos los creyentes e incrédulos, por los líderes y seguidores. Oramos por la sanación, el perdón, la compasión, la justicia y la paz. Oramos para que, al seguirte, nosotros también podamos ser pescadores de hombres. Bendícenos en nuestro viaje.
O Jesus, you call us, “Come after me.” Bless, O Lord, all who welcome your call. The path may not be easy, but we have confidence that all things are possible if we walk with you. May this journey, open our eyes to the wonders of your love for us. We pray for all your people, for all believers and unbelievers, for leaders and followers. We pray for healing, for forgiveness, for compassion, for justice, for peace. We pray that as we follow you, we too can be fishers of men. Bless us on our journey.
