Capítulo Provincial Redentorista
No estoy seguro de si podré escribir blogs durante los próximos días. Hoy comenzamos nuestro Capítulo Provincial. Una de las bendiciones de un Capítulo es la oportunidad de reunirme con hermanos de toda la Provincia. Si bien hay asuntos que atender, es un momento especial para mí. Paso gran parte de mi tiempo fuera de mi propia comunidad. Soy un sacerdote migrante, que sirve a los trabajadores migrantes, ya que mi vida ha estado asumiendo muchos ministerios de corto plazo.
Escribí lo siguiente en el agradecimiento a mis hermanos en Camina con mi pueblo:
Agradezco a mis hermanos Redentoristas que me han animado, apoyado y permitido explorar formas de servir a los migrantes del mundo. Agradezco especialmente a quienes aceptan mi frustración, moderan mi ira ante la injusticia y celebran la fe de los pobres que nos evangelizan.
Espero que mis hermanos sepan cuánto los aprecio por permitirme servir a los migrantes de las maneras en que lo he hecho a lo largo de los años.

Redemptorist Provincial Chapter
I am not certain if I will be able to write blogs for the next few days. Today we begin our Provincial Chapter. One of the blessings of a Chapter is the opportunity to meet with confreres from all over the Province. While there is business to be taken care of, it is a special time for me. I spend much of my time away from my home community. I am the migrant priest, advocating for migrant workers as my life has been taking on many short-term ministries.
I wrote the following in appreciation of my confreres in Walk with My People:
I thank my Redemptorist confreres who have encouraged, supported and allowed me to explore ways to serve migrants of the world. I especially thank those who accept my frustration, temper my anger at injustice, and celebrate the faith of the poor who evangelize us.
I hope that my confreres know my appreciation for allowing me to serve migrants in the ways that I have over the years.

Oh Jesús, tú nos llamas: “Síganme”. Bendice, Señor, a todos los que acogen tu llamado. Puede que el camino no sea fácil, pero tenemos la confianza de que todo es posible si caminamos contigo. Que este viaje nos abra los ojos a las maravillas de tu amor por nosotros. Oramos por toda tu gente, por todos los creyentes e incrédulos, por los líderes y seguidores. Oramos por la sanación, el perdón, la compasión, la justicia y la paz. Oramos para que, al seguirte, nosotros también podamos ser pescadores de hombres. Bendícenos en nuestro viaje.
O Jesus, you call us, “Come after me.” Bless, O Lord, all who welcome your call. The path may not be easy, but we have confidence that all things are possible if we walk with you. May this journey, open our eyes to the wonders of your love for us. We pray for all your people, for all believers and unbelievers, for leaders and followers. We pray for healing, for forgiveness, for compassion, for justice, for peace. We pray that as we follow you, we too can be fishers of men. Bless us on our journey.
