¿Qué motiva tal hostilidad contra los emigrantes? Deberían avergonzarse los políticos, los medios antiinmigrantes y la extraordinaria desinformación hecha por los funcionarios de Homeland Seguridad sobre quién está llegando a nuestras fronteras.
He caminado con migrantes e inmigrantes por más de treinta años. Son las mejores personas con las que he trabajado. No hay justificación para el odio malicioso patrocinado por los políticos que buscan beneficio del sufrimiento de los pobres del mundo.

What motivates such anti-immigrant hostility? Shame on the politicians, the anti-immigrant media and the extraordinary misrepresentation made by Homeland Security officials about who is coming to our borders.
I have walked with migrants and immigrants for over thirty years. They are among the best people with whom I have ever worked. There is no justification for the malicious hatred sponsored by politicians seeking to profit from the suffering people of the world.
Stop the hate. Have compassion for the suffering of the world. “When I was a stranger, you welcomed me…” Mt. 25: 35
