Empecemos
Es emocionante reunirnos con personas involucradas en el ministerio campesino de todas partes de los Estados Unidos. A menudo, estamos tan enfocados en lo que sucede en nuestra propia localidad que no reconocemos la variedad de enfoques del ministerio que se desarrollan en diferentes regiones del país. Será bueno aprender enfoques de personas que puedan mejorar nuestro propio ministerio.
Tendremos la oportunidad de escucharnos, planificarnos y animarnos unos a otros en el ministerio. Para los organizadores de este evento, hemos tratado de imaginar y responder a las diferencias y similitudes regionales de cada región del país. Nuestros participantes llegaron durante todo el domingo. El verdadero trabajo comienza hoy.

Let us begin
It is exciting to gather with people engaged in Campesino ministry from all parts of the United States. Often, we get so focused on what is happening in our own local that we do not recognize the array of approaches to the ministry that are developed in different regions of the country. It will be good to learn approaches of people that may enhance our own ministry.
We will have the opportunity to listen, plan and encourage each other in the ministry. For organizers of this event, we have tried to imagine and respond to the regional differences and similarities of each region of the country. Our participants arrived all through Sunday. The real work begins today.

Oh Jesús, tú nos llamas: “Síganme”. Bendice, Señor, a todos los que acogen tu llamado. Puede que el camino no sea fácil, pero tenemos la confianza de que todo es posible si caminamos contigo. Que este viaje nos abra los ojos a las maravillas de tu amor por nosotros. Oramos por toda tu gente, por todos los creyentes e incrédulos, por los líderes y seguidores. O Jesus, you call us, “Come after me.” Bless, O Lord, all who welcome your call. The path may not be easy, but we have confidence that all things are possible if we walk with you. May this journey, open our eyes to the wonders of your love for us. We pray for all your people, for all believers and unbelievers, for leaders and followers. We pray for healing, for forgiveness, for compassion, for justice, for peace. We pray that as we follow you, we too can be fishers of men. Bless us on our journey.
